Selection of Hem Link Unit |
Selection of a hem link unit is available in accordance with weight and center of gravities (r and θ) of the applying bending edge and the bending edge installation bracket.
The selection graph enables to judge whether the mounting mass (M) is within the maximum supporting load (Wmax) or not. |

| * How to read the hem link unit selection graph |
| Ex.: When single link unit (OHSS160-170D-H) with mounting load of 60 kg and center of gravity position of r = 175 and θ= 35. |
①Mounting load M = 60 (kg)×9.80665 = 588.4 (N)
②Select the maximum supporting load graph for the single link unit (OHSS160-17D-H).
③Find the position for r = 175 on the horizontal axis.
④Find the position for 588.4 (N) on the vertical axis.
⑤Select a curved line for θ = 35.
⑥Find the intersection of the line from the vertical axis ④ and the line from the horizontal axis ③.
⑦The intersection point is at the area lower than the curved line ⑤. Thus, it can be judged that the setting is available. |
