SUSTAINABILITY

WIPO GREEN

The Oiles Group actively provides technologies to WIPO GREEN, a framework promoted by the World Intellectual Property Organization to support the global dissemination of environmental technologies. By registering our patented technologies and patented products that contribute to environmental protection, we aim to foster collaboration with other companies, leading to the creation of new businesses and the promotion of open innovation.
Details of our initiatives related to Protection of Intellectual Property are also introduced in this section.

Learn about WIPO GREEN

WIPO GREEN is an international platform operated by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), aimed at promoting the dissemination of environmentally friendly technologies and realizing a sustainable future. It serves as a bridge to share and utilize innovative solutions to climate change and environmental issues across the globe. Its purpose is to facilitate the global exchange and application of green technologies that address worldwide challenges such as climate change, resource depletion, and environmental pollution.
At the core of this initiative is the WIPO GREEN database—an online platform that allows users to register and search for environmentally friendly technologies, products, and know-how. It functions as a hub that connects technology providers with organizations in need of such technologies.

Oiles BIOLIGHT81-B1/BIOLIGHT83-B1

This is an environmentally friendly bearing made from biomass plastic derived from renewable organic resources such as sugarcane and castor oil beans. Compared to conventional petroleum-based plastic bearings, this product achieves both a high biomass content (ratio of plant-derived components) and excellent wear resistance by adding fillers to the biomass plastic to enhance sliding performance. As a result, it helps reduce petroleum consumption and is expected to lower CO₂ emissions throughout the product's life cycle. Furthermore, since biomass plastic is refined from plants, which are renewable organic resources, rather than non-renewable resources like petroleum, it is considered a promising material for combating global warming, with growing demand anticipated in the future.

External blind BRIIL

An environmentally friendly external blind that utilizes sunlight shielding and natural air ventilation to reduce air conditioning load and CO₂ emissions. By blocking solar radiation heat from the outside of windows, it delivers a high heat-shielding effect, helping to suppress the use of heating and cooling energy. Designed to harness natural energy such as wind and sunlight, it enables both a comfortable indoor environment and energy-saving performance, contributing to global warming prevention.
