Thermal management systems to keep the motor and batteries at optimal temperatures are becoming increasingly important for electric vehicles (xEVs: HEVs, PHEVs, BEVs, etc.), and electric water pumps that circulate cooling water are increasingly used in these vehicles. The impeller moves the cooling water. Use of our bearings in the impeller reduces the water pump’s power consumption and extends its life.
